FIRST PLACE METS DROP PHILLIES TWICE

GAME ONE – DURBIN OVERMATCHED

Rookie J.D. Durbin strikes out first three Mets,
then somehow the young guy forgets

too many bad glitches.
El Duque treats Phillies like pets.

GAME TWO – MAINE BESTS HAMELS

Hamels’ pitches all over the place;

for the Phils, all they can do
is regroup, win the next two, show the world they’re not through.
