ROWAND SLAMS OLD MATES, PHILLIES SWEEP SOX

Aaron Rowand went into a fast trot
after his 7th inning GRAND SALAMI shot.
The gritty guy did his best not to smile;
show up old mates? Not his style.
Phils tie Braves for 2nd place; dare we say team is hot?

WP – Madson (1-2), LP – Thornton (2-2).
HR – Helms (1), 2nd, 0 on, 1 out; Rowand (9), 7th, 3 on, 2 out.

Do we dare think
We're on the brink
And about to dig
up spomething big ?

The next six days
In the schedules haze
we have a chance
to really dance...

Three games at the Bank
With the Tigers to spank...
Then off to the Jake we fly...
For three with the Injun's, oh my !!!

Then off to St Louie...
Will we go kablooey ?
Or come out fighting ?
It should be exciting !!!
