BIRD FEED

Jays greeted Moyer like a long-lost friend,
the old lefties’ curve ball lost most of its bend.
Final insult off Condrey, a grand-slam by Matt Stairs,
Charley Manuel lost what’s left of his hairs.
Hang onto your hats, fans, it’s a thorny path that we wend.

May 19, 2007. Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Toronto – 13, Philadelphia – 2.
WP – Marcum (2-2), LP – Moyer (4 – 3).
HR – Glaus (8), 3rd, 1 on, 1 out. Overbay (6), 4th, 2 on, 1 out, Stairs (3) 8th, 3 on, 1 out.
Utley (8), 5th, 0 on, none out.

The Phils say with clarity...
We can't stand prosperity...
7 hits in two games, although a rarity...
Makes the rest of the season a reason for scarity !!!
