GLAVINED

Jamie Moyer pitched well, but not well enough.
Hall-of-famer Tom Glavine in the end was too tough.
Jimmie Rollins, Phils slugger, hit two out of sight;
take that, Mets fans, boo though you might.
Phils not giving up, this team’s no cream puff.

April 12, 2007. Shea Stadium, New York, NY.
New York – 5, Philadelphia – 3.
WP – Glavine (2-1), LP – Moyer (1-1).
Hold – Smith (1), Shoeneweiss (3). Save – Wagner (2).
HR – Rollins- 2 (4,5). First inning, leadoff; second inning, one on, one out.

Something's gotta give...
With bats like a sieve...
Down deep in the pack...
Is where they will keep...
It's a loooong way back...
To the top of the heap...

How 'bout Rollins in 3
And Utley in 4,Victorino as 1
And Rowan as 2,Howard as 5
Burrell as 6, son-of a gun !!!
Helms as 7,my sakes alive !!!
How's that for a shake-up ?
Of the old dice cup ?
