TOO CRUEL

Too cruel, oh devilish Baseball fates!
Turned back from threshold of victory’s gates.
Phils lead with three outs to go,
Flash Gordon, his first save he did blow.
Mad Dog Madson once again let down his mates.

HR – McCann (2) ninth, one on, none out; Thorman (1) 11th , none on, none out.
Ruiz (1) fifth, none on, one out.
Cole Hamels seven shoutout innings.

Just can't dwell
On the pitches from H---
Hit deep in the well
That cast a bad spell
And sound the death knell
To two who pitched swell...

Charlie says "Our hitting will come around and we'll win some games !!! " Duh...
