Jolbert Cabrera led the Tigres de Cartagena in a four game sweep over Caimanes de Barranquilla for the Colombian Professional Basbeall League Championship.
Cabrera collected seven hits; one home run; three doubles; nine rbi's; and three runs with a .538 batting average to become the Series MVP. Jolbert also has a 1.000 slugging pct. and .625 OBP.
The pitching was led by Javier Ortiz who struck out eight of 30 batters in eight innings with a 1.13 era.
Barranquila was favored coming off a 6-2 record in the first round of playoffs while Cartegena had a 4-4 win-loss record in the round-robin series.
