tried their best to continue team winnings.

HR – Cabrera (26), Willingham (26).
No miracles this year. Los Angeles and San Diego win to
clinch playoff spots. Phillies two down with one to play.

One positive thing that you can say
After all is said and done...
Of the 162 that we play...
was a meaningful 161...
Second guesses by the ton...
a stumble here, missed signal there...
Of all the games we could have won...
To put out blame is just not fair...
We did our best, left it on the field...
Of artificial grass and clover...
Fell short of our goal of not to yield...
But it isn't over until it's over...It's over !!!
