PHILS SWEEP DOUBLEHEADER IN ATLANTA

Game one:

Down five in the second, Phils came back.
Eude Brito came in and picked up the slack.
Howard and Conine got the RBIs;
bullpen gets A plus for tries.
Bobby Cox has taken a whack.

September 13, 2006. Turrner Field, Atlanta, Georgia.
Philadelphia – 6, Atlanta – 5.
WP – White (4-1), save- Gordon (29). LP – Paronto (2-3)
HR – Davies (1).

Game two:

John Lieber gave Phils a big lift,
his pitches were snaky and swift.
Carlos Ruiz knocked in three;
J-roll number 20 HR with great glee.
Bobby Cox was somber and miffed.

Philadelphia – 7, Atlanta – 2.
WP – Lieber (8-9), LP – Hudson (12-11)
HR – LaRoche (31), McCann (20).
Ruiz (3), Rollins (20).
