BULLPEN STINKS AT SHEA

H-bomb’s grand salami was sweet.
It looked like a last night repeat.
Good grief, Charley Brown, what were you thinking?
Rick White, who lately’s been stinking?
Sad to say, fans, the good guys got beat.

August 26, 2006. Shea Stadium, New York, New York.
New York Mets – 11, Philadelphia – 5.
WP – Feliciano (6-2). LP – White (2-1).
HR – Beltran (38), Delgado (33).
Howard (46).

Good grief indeed
he picked the wrong steed...
Why not go
with young Castro ?
We'll never know...

Today we could cook...
With the vet 'gainst the rook...
The Vet is my bet
to shut down the Met...
After which we'll be set !!!
