Phillies Journal - 2006

by Max Blue

Brett Myers came back and pitched well.
Won with help from Utley, Howard, and David Bell.
Barry Bonds hit number seven twenty one,
not enough to spoil Phillies’ fun.
How good is our team? Next two weeks should tell.

July 16, 2006. AT&T Park, San Francisco, California.
Philadelphia – 6, San Francisco – 2.
WP – Myers (6-3), LP – Kline (2-2)
HR – Durham (14), Bonds (13).
Bell – (5).

4 out of 5
the dream is alive...
if we can survive
and not take a dive...

Padres and Bravos
then Backs and the Fish
await our best salvos...
To put runs on the dish...
