Phillies Journal - 2006
Yankees Journal - 2006

by Max Blue and Herb Rogoff

HOWARD BLANKED – PHILLIES, TOO
It looks bad, but it’s still a long season.
Phils not dead, and I’ll give you a reason:
Chase Utley a slump.
No reason to dump.
To give up now would be treason.
June 21, 2006. Citizen.s Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

New York – 5, Philadelphia – 0.
WP – Wright (4-4). LP –Hamels (1-3)

Herb Rogoff and Max sat in section 422 behind home plate as high up as it was possible to get. Yankee (you stink, A-rod) and Phillies (you da man, Sal) fans intermingling high in the sky. Herb has been a Yankee fan since Cliff Mapes played right field.

Herb had this to say:
Yankees Journal - 2006
WRIGHT DOES RIGHT – YANKEES, TOO
It looks touchy, but it’s still a long season.
Wright not dead, and I’ll give you a reason.
Wright got past his long standing bug-a- boo.
Damon knew just what to do,
So to give up now would be treason.
