Pacific League News
The Pacific League opened its doors last Saturday with raining champions Chiba taking on Softbank in what many see as the most likely post-season match up for the 2006 Pacific League flag. Chiba looked out of sorts and lost both games to the Hawks, Rakuten started as it finished 2005 with two losses to Nippon Ham and Orix impressed by taking one of two games from Seibu.
