RHP Osmel Cintra beat LHP Yosvani Perez and Santiago won 4x2. Perez allowed 4 earned runs and lost is not longer the ERA leader.
Villa Clara VS Isla de la Juventud
Isla de la Juventud beat Villa Clara 9x4 with veteran RHP Carlos Yanes (9-3) as the winning pitcher and Orlis Diaz hit a Grand Slam for his 8th HR of the season. The losing pitcher was LHP Rogelio Carrillo (4-2).
La Habana VS Holguin
La Habana got closer to group leader Industriales by beating Holguin 12x2. The Cowboys had 11 hits including homers by Juan Linares (9) and a Grand Slam by Pedro Arozarena (6).
Camaguey VS Metropolitanos
Metros beat Camaguey 9x6. Alexander Barrios doubled twice and had 6 RBIs.
Pinar del Rio VS Ciego de Avila
