Mazatlan Venados and the Mexican Pacicfic League officilas, disclosed their additions to the team to be participating in the upcoming Caribbean Series, that will be played in Venezuelan cities of Valencia and Maracay next Feb 1-7 of 2005
Mazatlan the current reigning champ will count on the following roster additions
Cátcher
Noé Muñoz ( Guasave )
Pitchers
Ariel Prieto ( Obregon and actually pitching in Venezuela for Aragua Tigers )
Mauricio Lara ( Navojoa , retired the last 27 LH batters he faced )
Julio C. Jiménez ( Guasave )
Édgar González ( Hermosillo , will join Campos,and Ortega as starter )
Scott Chiasson ( Navojoa , led league in saves )
Infielders
Óscar Robles ( Navojoa SS )
Luis A. Cruz ( Navojoa 2 B will replace injured Miguel Flores )
Jesse Gutiérrez ( Navojoa 1 B and clean up hitter, who whacked 15 homers in the season )
Outfielders
Mario Valenzuela ( Guasave , powerful hitter )
Juan C. Canizales (Hermosillo, 2005 Mex Pac batting champion and a Mazatlan native )
