Ambriorix Concepción of the Tigres del Chinandega blasted a two run homer to break a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning to sink the Fieras del San Fernando in Game #5 of the Nicaraguan Professional Baseball League Championship Series in Masaya. Chinandega and San Fernando split the first two games of the Nicaraguan Professional Baseball League Championship series in Chinandega. The Tigres took game #3 in Masaya. The Fieras slipped past the Tigres in Game #4 of the Nicaraguan Professional Baseball League Championship Series in Managua. Chinandega now leads San Fernando three games to two.
