Hermosillo 5 Guasave 1 Ken Ray 1 - 0 Luis Carlos Rivera 0-1

Jesse Gutierrez drove 3 runs with a pair of singles to lead Mayos and winner Hansel Izquierdo to beat Mazatlan and Francisco Campos by 4-2, and thus tying series up to 2 games a piece.

Izquierdo who fanned 6 Venados worked 5.2 innings allowing 6 hits including a solo home run by Roberto Saucedo (3) who continued swinging a good bat
Isauro Pineda a Mazatlan native and closer Scott Chiasson completed the distance, being Scott`s 5 th save of the post season

Campos who kept on struggling , has not have a victory since late novemeber , worked 6 innings allowing 4 runs, and relievers Jose Cobos , Leo Muñoz and Sixto Baez also worked on the mound for Venados

Tonight Walter Silva for Venados and Humberto Montemayor will be on the mound for he 5 th game

In Hermosillo, catcher Iker Franco went 3 out of 4 AB , doubled twice and drove 3 runs to lead his team to beat Guasave 5 – 1 and to also tie series up to 2 games each one.

Winner Ken Ray worked through 5.2 innings allowing 4 hits and fanning 6 Cottoneers to pick up the win, while Luis Carlos Rivera lost the game working through 4.1 allowing 7 hits, 5 runs . 5 K’s and walking 6

Naranjeros rallied 4 runs in the 4th where a bases loaded double by Franco brought 3 runs in, taking advantage of Rivera`s out of command and singles by Vitiello and Garcia, plus a sacrifice fly by Jose Sandoval to make it 4-1

Jorge Luis Valle also had 3hits from the 11 that Naranjeros collected in the game of Guasave pitching versus 4 hit by Guasave

Jorge de la Rosa worked 2 innings in relief, allowing no hits and no runs and fanning 3

Tonight for the 5th game Hermosillo announced Edgar Gonzalez as their starter, meanwhile Cottoneers skipper Che Reyes did not defined his pitcher
