Mochis 3 Culiacan 2 Derrin Elbert 2 – 0 Brian Corey 1 -1


MEXICALI - OBREGON

Yaquis led by Geronimo Gil who drove 4 runs in, beat Mexicali to sink them down the bottom by 9-4, and off loser Claudio Moreno.
Chris Latham with his 4th of the season drove 2 last Obregon runs, while winner Carlos Elizalde went 7 innings ,allowing only 6 hits and 1 run
Alfredo Amezaga continued his torrid hitting pace and had a 3 hits night game

NAVOJOA – HERMOSILLO

Hermosillo beat Mayos 5 – 2 with Javier Arturo Lopez to reached 7 winning games in a row off losing Adolfo Delfin.
Luis Alfonso Garcia hit his 17th home run of the year and drove 4 runs in to lead Naarnjeros attack.
Oscar Robles for Mayos , hit a 2 uns home run, his first of the season

MAZATLAN – GUASAVE

Adrian kept celebrating his trade to San Diego with a GWRBI homerun in the 9th to lead Venados to beat Cottoneers 7-6 and made relief pitcher Oscar Bustillos a winner off Sergio Mora.

To complete an all Gonzalez game, his brother Edgar also went deep with his 2nd of the year ,good for 3 runs, while reappearing after recovering from a shoulder problem that seemed not to affect his hitting ability
Marty McLeary picked his second save of the year
Dave Doster ( 4 ) and Kevin Barker ( 9 ) hit home runs for Guasave

MOCHIS – CULIACAN

Mochis won 3-2 in 11 innings to Culiacan therefore avoiding to be swept, when 3B Jaime Trejo committed error to allow Mochis taking this game home
Christian Quintero smashed his 6th home run of the year for Mochis


NOTES :

• Jayson Bass was signed by Culiacan who released Chad Ehrnsberger,


• Nate Bland was also released by Culiacan and went to DR to pitch for Licey
