Amezaga scored once more with his 3rd basehit of the game , drove by Chris Latham triple and former Eagle Augie Murillo went deep for his 6th of the year

NAVOJOA – HERMOSILLO

Mayos can not catch up Naranjeros in a 5 runs 9th inning attack off major league reliever Oscar Villarreal and come short to beat Naranjeros and finally Hermsillo took the game 9-7 .

Elmer Dessens starting his first season game went 3.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 run, a HR by Doug Clark, followed by Jon Castellanos who won the game in relief, working 3.2 innings with only 3 hits and 1 run

Hermosillo based their offensive in 3 ribbies by Carlos Gastelum and 3 more by Luis Alfonso Garcia which include his 16th nround tripper of the year

Clark ( 11 ) and Jesse Gutierrez added home runs for Navojoa

MAZATLAN – GUASAVE

Guasave beat Mazatlan and Francisco Campos 8-5 with Luis Navarro winning in nrescue of starter Luis Carlos Rivera, and the support from 2 ribbies apiece by Kevin Barker ( 8 ) and Mario Valdez home runs, plus a solo shot by Armando Rios ( 5 )

For Mazatlan celebrating his trade to San Diego, first baseman Adrian Gonzalez smashed his 8th of the year

Campos who has been losing over the last three games, went 5.2 innings allowing 8 hits and 6 runs for his worst performance this year.

MOCHIS – CULIACAN

Ben Francisco with his 13th of the year , a 3 runs shot off loser Antonio Osuna in the top of the 9 inning, led Culiacan to beat Cañeros 10 -7

Beni Gil also contributed with his 4th of the year as part of his 4 RBI `s game, in which Oliver Perez pitching in front of Pirates GM was attacked early on the game and sent to the shower after 2 innings , 6 hits , 5 run performance

NOTES :

In a disciplinary action taken, Mochis released Calvin Pickering and Rontrez Johnson two of the most important hitters, there must be something really hard to be taken that decision that surely hurts Cañeros for the remaining of the season
