MEX PAC NOTES :

• Culiacan deactivated P Nate Bland to make room for Chad Ehrnsberger who played Independent baseball at Saint Paul, batting .360 – 12 HR – 64 RBI

• Doug Clark is the new league batting leader with .341 followed by Juan Carlos Canizalez ( HMO) and Rontrez Johnson ( MOC ) both with .335

• Luis Alfonso Garcia ( HMO ) , Ruben Rivera ( CUL ) and Mario Valenzuela ( GVE ) leads in HR with 15

• Luis Alfonso Garcia ( 46 ) , Canizalez ( 42 ) and Ramon Orantes ( MOC ) Leads in RBI

• In pitching Spike Lundberg leads all with 9-1 and 2.09 , in saves Scott Chiasson ( NAV ) leads with 17 , while Francisco Campos ( MAZ ) leads in KO with 65

• Victor Bojorquez ( MOC ) who batted ,391 in that span was named the player of the week for the second time in the season, Doug Clark and Adrian Gonzalez who batted .444 received considerations towards the denomination

• Mike Brito, the most productive MLB scout in Mexico , who signed Fernando Valenuela in the 80`s, announced that Dodgers has now signed prospects pitchers , Joakim Soria and Jesus Aurelio Rodriguez , both part of Yaquis staff.
He also declared that Oscar Robles future to be a regular player is in jeopardy ,because Dodgers recent free agents signatures of Rafael Furcal , Bill Mueller and now Nomar Garciaparra
