Mazatlar rallied 3 runs in th 8th to beat Hermosillo 3 -1 , when winning pitcher Pablo Ortega on the mound allowing only 1 hit 1 run, a homer by Mazatlanian Juan Carlos Canizalez and closer Marc Worrell picking combined to get the series first game.
With two down in tht inning, Miguel Flores and hot hitter Edgar Gonzalez singled, Heber Gomez singled home the tying run, Adrian Gonzalez singled home his brother Edgar and Pedro Castellano doubled home Adrian with the 3 rd run of the rally.

In record night in Mexicali , local team HIT TWO GRAND SLAMS in the game as for Culiacan BEN FRANCISCO HIT 3 HOME RUNS, as Mexicali beaten Culiacan 18 – 8 with Alex Carrasco getting the win and Chad Zerbe the lost

Derrick White and Christian Presichi hit Grand Slams to lead the offense , in a home run festival . because Howie Clark , Hector Paez and Ruben Rivera also went deep in this game where Presichi also tied a record for most runs scored in agame with 5, set in 1967 by Abelardo Balderas, the playing for Guaymas Oystermen.

Mochis Cañeros beat Obregon Yaquis 4 -3 and stamped them their 6 lost in a row, in a record night for MexPac baseball watching OF CHRISTIAN QUINTERO SETTING A NEW RECORD FOR MOST CONSECUTIVE GAMES HITTING SAFELY.

By coincidence, Quintero who is an Obregon native did the milestone against his countryside men in the 3rd inning off Carlos Elizalde, with a bunt single as well as he did in his previous game in tying the record of 29 games, now he is at 30 and counting.

Christian Quintero set new record of most consecutive games hitting safely against his countryside men, the Obregón Yaquis.
A native of the suburban town of San Jose de Bacum, achieved the most important milestone of his professional career and broke a record that stand for 18 years and held by former great Andres Mora.

Steve Smitherman , left Navojoa to return to the USA for family matters, he is scheduled to come back this coming week end.
