LIEBER . . .German: better.

Tim Hudson was wheeling, Jon Lieber was dealing.
By the fifth inning you got the feeling
that this gem would go down to the wire.
Who would be first to tire?
Michael Tucker’s ninth inning hit had me squealing.

September 22, 2005. The TED, Atlanta, Georgia.
Philadelphia – 4, Atlanta – 0
Shane Victorino (the little winner) followed Tucker’s
hit with a three-run homer, his major league first. More squealing.

Got the Jones boys number
and shut down their lumber...
Tucker...wowee
and the kid from Maui
"tore" the Braves asunder...

Now we've got the Reds
and their monster Harang...
who's looking for heads for his pantry..
But we don't give a dang...
We don't quit, according to Brantly.
