It always comes down to the Braves,
those haughty, insufferable knaves.
Once again they sat on our hope,
made Charley Manuel look like a dope.
It’s like we’re playing in caves, our losses coming in waves.

It's becoming quite clear
as is has all year
that we're nowhere near...
So cry in your beer,
pack up your gear,
get outa here
and wait till next year !!!
Unless somehow we find the zest
to win most of the rest
we'll fail the test
to be the best...
There's always a quest
for a playoff, at best.
now is not the time to rest !!!
