In baseball, mor than any other sports, when you´re playing post season series, you ought to win your host games, and it is exactly what, Tijuana and Tigers started to do, last night beating their respective opponents, and took advantage in divisional championships series.

FIRST GAME RESULTS WINNERS LOSERS

Tijuana 6-5 Saltillo Adolfo Delfin 1-0 Jose Mercedes 0-1
Tigers 9-0 Yucatan Pablo Ortega 1-0 Alfredo Aceves 0-1

LUIS FIGUEROA´s 3 runs homer run,plus DERRICK WHITE´s 2 runs one in the bottom of the 8th inning, gave Tijuana a 6-5 victory off Saltillo, to take advantage in series 1-0.
As you realize it was a sensational game, something that Colts has been having their audience use to
all season long, this is a team that never give up, and all of a sudden can exploit their weapons to beat anyone.
That was the case last night , under a packed up scenario, Tijuana´s Calimax Stadium, Colts were behind 5-1 against Saraperos and starter RAFAEL DIAZ who was tossing a solid game, but reliever MIGUEL PEREZ and losing pitcher, JOSE MERCEDES blown out a victory once again and allowed those two winning home runs by Tijuana.

Everything started when, in the top of the 8th, when rookie PAUL LLANO walks, JOSE MANUEL ESPINOSA followed with a single to let table set to LUIS FIGUEROA ´s 3 runs shot, afterwards CARLOS VALENCIA single before having DERRICK WHITE to receive Mereceds with his 2 runs game winning home run.

Saltillo were leading the game using thier power through home runs by MORGAN BURKHART, JAYSON BASS and MARIO VALENZUELA, you got to recall that both Tijauan and Saltillo are leading play offs in HR´s with 21, each, but Tijuana led all in the season.
ADOLFO DELFIN in relief won this game, while Mereceds lost it.
Today for the second game, Rigo Beltran for Saltillo and Nate Bland will go to the mound.

Tigers and JORGE VAZQUEZ defeated an shutout Yucatan Lions 9-0, losing their magic for a moment, while winner PABLO ORTEGA and 4 more relievers combined to hold up Lions in 5 hits only.
Vazquez went 3-3 with 4 ribbies (GRAND SLAM) and MAURICIO SUAREZ added anothEr 2 runs shot, to made it all for Tigers, and have them took advantage in South Division championship series, they along with Colts in the North are considered the favorites to go to the final series.
ALFREDO ACEVES lost for Lions, by allowing 8 runs in only 4 innings work.
Tonight in Puebla, series will continue with, ALEX ARMENTA going for Tigers against RAUL RODRIGUEZ who´ll try to tie series up for Yucatan.
