KNUCKLED UNDER

We never got close.
Tim Wakefield gave us a dose
Of his nasty knuckler,

June 24, 2005. Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, PA.
Boston – 8, Philadelphia – 0.

Three run homers by Mirabelli and Manny Ramirez. David Ortiz
slugged a two-run upperdecker just to rub it in. Jon Lieber pitched
batting practice for the Phillies.
