Last Sunday, first half of the Mexican League ended up with the following results:

As per the play offs format has been set up, each team earned points according to the standing positions, first place gets 8 points and last place got 1, so by adding the two rounds ,top 12 positioned teams goes to the first play off. So as of now, the best 6 teams in every division will likely go to the play offs if at least tehy hold up same positions in the standing.
ALL STAR GAME
The City of Puebla, home of Tigers and Parrots, will host the 2005 edition of the All Stars Game the week end of June 3-5, starting with the Home Run Derby ,where 16 power hitters are ready to fight for this important event, 8 for every division.
So for the North,
Morgan Burkhart , Guillermo Garcia (14) , Edgar Quintero (9), Eduardo Rios (18), Jose Luis Sandoval (10), Roberto Saucedo (14) , Randall Simon (17) and Mario Valenzuela (16) , and as for the South, Matias Carrillo (11), Felix Jose (16), Many Martinez (12) , Adan Muñoz , Willis Otañez (18), Javier Robles (9), Bill Selby (15) and Jorge Vazquez (16) will contest for the honor to be crowned as the derby king.
An old timer game will take place the 4th when Tigers and Parrots play against, lining up those great ones who used to delight old audience with fantastic plays or hitting.
Tijuana Colts looking to improve thei position for the second half, announced that, MARCO ANTONIO VAZQUEZ will be their new Manager in replacement of RAUL CANO who will return to his previous duties as team GM, and accountable for finding new players who can make Colts to improve thier standing spot.Tijuana despite of the fact that their pitching staff were not aligned to compete well, Cano did a good job and finnished in 4th place and earning 6 of 8 possible points, to be in the race to make it to the play offs.
Bobby Lara, returned to Laguna Cowboys after being loaned earlier in the season to Agusacalientes, trying to boost Cowboys offense.
