CARLOS GASTELUM drove in the winning run in the 9th and lead Tigres to a walk off victory over Veracruz and LEO ESTRELLA (2-4) by 2-1. Winner was EDGAR HUERTA (2-1) who in last year was playing at Mobile, a San Diego farm club.AMAURY GARCIA hit his 4th of the year for the only Veracruz run.

Between CARLOS VALENCIA who hit his 13th homer of the year and drove 2 runs in, and GEORGE ARIAS who went 4.-3 with 3 ribbies, Tijuana got all the support to beat San Luis 7-3 and swept them in series.Winner JOSE NAVARRO (3-2) and loser GABE MOLINA (3-5) for San Luis, while PAT O´SULLIVAN belted his 13th of the season.

MARIO VALENZUELA who played last season with Charlotte Knights ,smashing 25 HR´s ,belted his 16th of the season going 5-3 in the game to lead Saltillo to beat Monclova 6-2.NOE MUÑOZ added his 7th of the year to support winning pitcher RIGO BELTRAN getting his 7th win of the season and tied BAUDEL ZAMBRANO of Tigers on the top .

EDGAR QUINTERO drove 3 runs for Monterrey in support to winner MAURICIO DE LA ROSA (1-3) in beating Laguna 7-6 in a coming from behind victory off BEN RIVERA (4-3). Quintero went 4-2, and DEMOND SMITH got his 4th homer of the year for Sultans, as for Lguna CORNELIO GARCIA got his 5th of the year .

PEDRO CASTELLANO and EDY DIAZ drove two runs apiece to lead Yucatan to beat Tabasco 6-2.Diaz went 4-3 in the game, homering his 5th in the second inning. OSCAR RIVERA won (2-4) and OSVALDO FERNANDEZ LOST (4-5) .

Campeche scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th,thanks to a 3 run HR by FAUSTO CRUZ (1) to lead Pirates to a victory over Cancun 7-4. SID MARQUEZ (3-1) the winner and JORGE GUTIERREZ (1-4) the loser. JOSE AMADO (3) homered for Lobstermen as part of his 4-3 game.


Warriors scored 5 runs in the 6th in route to a win over Puebla Parrots by 10-4, with winner HORACIO ESTRADA (3-2) who went the distance , while GILBERTO GONZALEZ (0-5) LOST IN RELIEF TO STARTER Gustavo Federico. ALBINO CONTRERAS (5) homered for Puebla.

EDUARDO RIOS singled home the winning run for Aguascalientes to give them a walk off victory over Mexico City Red Devils by 9-8, and covertin reliever MARCOS DIAZ a winner ( 3-1) off also reliever MAURICIO TEQUIDA ( 0-1). For Railroadmen RONTREZ JOHNSON ( 4) in a 42 , 4 ribbies game, RUBEN MACIAS (4) bothe hit homers, while for Devils RAY MARTINEZ got his 14th of the year.
