VERACRUZ --TABASco

Reds, took this series up to Veracruz by winning last night 2-1 in 11 innings,thanks to a GWRBI double by LUIS CARLOS GARCIA, 2-1.
Winning pitcher was LEO ESTRELLA (2-1) with SIXTO BAEZ (5) picking the save, while Venezuelan .
reliever ELIO SERRANO (0-1) lost for Tabasco.
Prior games, in the first Olmecas won 15-10 with CARLOS SIEVERS driving in 8 runs including a HR, and reliever SANTOS HERNANDEZ the winner, while HUGO AGULAR lost for Veracruz.
In the second game, Veracruz tied series winning, w7-4 with RAFAEL PIÑA on the mound and winning, while OSVALDO FERNANDEZ took the lost.
or Tabasco,JULIAN YAN hit his 10th HR of the season and 150th of his career in Mexican League.
Former Dodger and Expo, Dominican HENRY RODRIGUEZ was signed by Tabasco will debut in the next series.

MONTERREY -- TIJUANA

Colts got their second series in a row,playing at home by beating Sultans 12-1 with winner ALONSO BELTRAN (1-2) on the mound, while for Monterrey RICH DE HART (2-2) took the lost.
CARLOS VALENCIA (5) hit a round tripper fo Colts, to whom GEORGE ARIAS the former Padre made his debut playing first base and went 5-0 at bat. He spent 5 season in Japan where he had 159 HR ´s -there.
Previously, Monterrey won 1-0 the second game of this series, with winner PABLO OCHO (4-1) and HUGO CASTELLANOS (0-1) the loser for Tijuana.
As for the first game Tijauan won 8-7, after a walk off HR by Puerto Rican LUIS FIGUEROA.
EDUARDO NERI ( 1-1) ,the winner while MAXIMO DE LA ROSA (0-1) picked the lost, CARLOS VALENCIA (4) ,also addeda home run for Colts.
RANDALL SIMON ened his hitting streak at 21 ,after being stopped in the second game, going 4-0, anyway he had his quality playing spread up all over in this league .

PUEBLA - CAMPECHE

Home Runs by BILL SELBY (7) and HECTOR PAEZ led the Pirates and J.J ALVAREZ (2-2) to win 6-1 off Parrotts and losing pitcher GUSTAVO FEDERICO (2-1) and swept Puebla in the series.
DAVID MANNING (2-0) won the first game thanks to walk off RBI single by veteran ROBERTO "shorty" VIZCARRA, by 6-5, losing JOSIAS MANZANILLO (0-1).
As for the second game Pirates shutout Puebla 6-0 with EFRAIN SANCHEZ (3-0) on the mound, while LUIS MACIAS (0-1) lost for Puebla.

LAGUNA -- SAN LUIS POTOSI

San Luis won 9-2 with HUMBERTO MONTEMAYOR (3-1) on the mound, while OBED POSAADAS (0-1) lost for Cowboys.RAMON ESPINOSA (5) , JOSE AMADOR (5) of Laguna, and DAVE DOSTER (3) for San Luis hit HR´s in this game.
Cowboys won 9-8 in the second game with EMERSON ESPARZA (1-1) winning, while GABE MOLINA (1-1) lost for San Luis; RAUL LOPEZ (5) and JOSE ESPARZA (4) hit homers for Laguna.
As for the first game, in a Home Runs night, where a total of 9 homers were conected, San Luis won by 21 - 13 to Cowboys.
4 of those homers coming from San Luis were in the second inning tying a league´s record of most HR´s hit in one inning, when LUIS BUSTILLOS,DAVE DOSTER,PAT O´SULLIVAN and CARLOS RODRIGUEZ went long ball. MIGUEL ANGEL LOPEZ (1-0 ,the winner, and CHRISTIAN BERNAL (0-1) ,the loser.

YUCATAN --OAXACA

Warriors swept Lions by winning 6-3 yesterady, supporte in 2 RBI a piece by CHAD MEYERS and JORGE CRESPO.
Winning pitcher CUPERTINO LEON (1-1) while, ignacio flores (0-2) lost for Yucatan.
Lions won previous two games 5-4 and 10-9, respectively.

SALTILLO -- AGUASCALIENTES

JOSE NUÑEZ (1-1) and Railroadmen defeated Saltillo 6-4 avoiding the swept, with REFUGIO CERVANTES ans HECTOR GUIZAR contributing to the victory with home runs.
For Saltillo, IGNACIO FLORES (2-2) ,was the loser.
