Aragua Tigers are the Venezuelan winterball champions beating Caracas 7-6 in th seventh game of this best of seven match up.
Tigers has to fight along the 9 innings to ended up with the victory in which reliever Geremi Gonzalez was the winner, and also reliever Andrew Lorraine ,the loser.
Eddy Diaz game winning RBI (2) marked the difference in favor of Aragua.
Marco Scutaro has put Cracas on a 6-4 lead after a grand slam, but Aragua reposted with 3 runs to turned down to their side.
This was the second title in arow for Aragua,who are now heading to Mazatlan, mexico to represent Venezuelan baseball in the Caribbean series.t

In Dominican Republic, last night in Santo Domingo´s Quisqueya Stadium, Licey Tigers forced a tie breaking game for tonight, and tied series 3-3, after winning 12-8 against Cibao Eagles.
There was everything but good pitching and defense, since both teams lacked of good starting and relief pitching that resulted in a boring game in which a lot of runs have been scored.

Jose Guillen, provided all that Tigers needed to win this important game, specially in the 7th inning when he smashed a 3 runs HR, a clinching one and added 3 more hits in the night, and turned on as this game heroe.
The game was tied then at 8-8, when he come up with his winning home run, relief pitcher veteran LHP Carlos Perez the fifth of seven pitchers used was the winner, and also reliever Arnaldo Muņoz took the lost.

Tonight at Eagles nest, in Santiago the decisive game, and after all tomorrow early morning ,champions must get on a plane to fly to Mazatlan in order to participate in the upcoming caribbean series.
Julia Tvarez will go for Cibao, while Juan Cruz for Licey
