Mexicali´s OF Rick Short left the Eagles surprisingly, since he was the best team hitter, actually the leagues co-leader, and Tampa Bay´s OF Jonn Gomes come in replacement.
The team has not disclosed any reasons for Short to be out of the roster.
A 40 man roster protected player, Tampa Bay´s Jonny Gomes made his debut last night against Guasave going 5-2 and playing CF.
Ariel Prieto got his 6th win of the season, and still undefeated, while his Obregon teamates scored 8 runs to beat Mazatlan 8-0.

Once again red hot hitter Mario Valdez who is showing a different bat stance, and stronger than last year, hit his 7th HR of the season in as only 57 AB.
It seems that playing in Japan helped him to find his way back to the big leagues, for the way his swinging the bat, anyway he´s only 30 years old.

Benji Gil, of Culiacan self decided to end the season, bothered from unrecovered knee surgery that needing more rehab in USA.

Elmer Dessens will make his debut on thursday against Culiacan

Scott Seabol a Cardinals propspect made his debut with Mazatlan, last night
