OUT OF THE FIRE
Comeback wins are fun,
they boost our spirits a ton.
J-Mike a 9th inning sac fly to tie it,
Leiby a 10th inning single, Howitzer Howard a double to buy it.
Down to Downs 2-0 in the 8th we picked ourselves up and won.
Saturday, September 25, 2004. Olympic Stadium, Montreal, Quebec.
Philadelphia – 4, Montreal – 3 (10 innings).

Hurricane Jeanne messed up our reception...
Of things going on in the world of ball...
The Channels all have used THIER perception
That sports fans would rather watch trees and big poles fall...
So bits and pieces and little snatches.
Were all that was heard of critical matches...
No papers to read or TV to see...Yet
We still got our thrills off the internet
Maybe today as the storm blows away
We'll get to watch our favorites play...
With pennant races and top 10 placement...
Our guys abide from top to basement...
So here's to the games,that wait to be seen...
