Dashing our hopes for the wild card we seek.
Reds got a first inning break,
Gavin Floyd forgot to cover first, a rookie mistake.
Time to stand tall and start a new streak.

More like mental fatigue
Covering first on the break
Is learned in Little League
Six back on the lost side is really a groaner
Got to keep winning with no mental boners
Perfect baseball is what has to be done
If at the end we can say "We Won !"
