Ruben Rivera HR gave Pirates Series Tie

Ruben Rivera who is playing like a rookie trying to get a spot in his team, hit a sensational HR off closer Hipolito Pichardo with Emil Brtown on base with a single,in th the top of the 11th inning to give Campeche Pirates a win 3-2 over host team Saltillo Sarape Makers.
As expected Pirates start sending their main claiber pitching in Danny McGee, who went 10 innings and Isidro "Sid" Marquez come up to tapped Saltillo´s reaction in the bottom of 11th, and picked up the save.
McGee, allowed only 5 hits, 4 Walks and fanned 8 batters, specially silencing the backbone batting order of Saltillo, who all wen to a combined 11-2 (Bass, Burkhart,Jimenez)

Pascual Coco for Saltillo also pitched a tremendous game, going 8 innings, allowing 4 hits,2 Walks and fanned 8 Pirates, Pichardo came in in relief in the 9 th inning.
Saltillo strikes first in the bootom of the second, taking advantage of two outs walks to Ricardo Saenz and Manuel Velez, and Vicente Verdugo with a single drove the run in.

Campeche replied in the following inning,through a single by Emmanuel Valdez, another Valdez, Ramon is hit by pitcher, Oscar Ramirez advanced runners with a sac bunt, and in a fielder´s choice , Valdez scored the tying run.

This was a rocket line drive by Roberto Mejia to which Saltillo´s 3B, Manuel Velez made a sensational catch lying down to his left, and being one of the 4 tota caughts he made in the game, he is playing great defense as well as good hitting in this post season games for Saltillo.
The bad taste for Campeche was the loss of clutch2B,Sergio Guerrero who suffered a sprained ankle, sidelined him for the rest of the series, Oscar Ramirez took over as 2b , and Beltran replaces Ramirez as SS.

Pirates Manager Paquin Estrada said after the game, that "series really started today,since his staff had one day more of rest, after fighting to beat Red Devils, and traveling day will put us in line to pursue this title"
Today is a traveling day, and in Saturday afternoon at 6 PM CT, Frank Campos for Campeche, and Rafael Diaz fo Saltillo will go to the mound, at Nelson Barrera Stadium.
