Red Devils goes to Semifinals defeating Oaxaca

Mexico City Red Devils beating Oaxaca Warriors 8-2 becomes the frist team to qualify to the finals series in the South Division, supported in OF Victor Bojorquez, who went 5-3 in the game, 6 RBI´s with a homer, and come short to hit for the cycle.
Former Pittsburgh Pirate, Jose Silva pitched six shutout innings, allowing only 5 hits, 3 K´s in leading the Devisl to the next round, which by the way he has won both qualifying games.
Eleazar Mora took the loss, and closer Greg Hansell did it again, to pick up his 3rd save.
Catcher Saul Soto also homered for Red devils.
Oaxaca from their part set up a non envy record of becoming the first team of the Mexican League to lose two Play offs series.

PUEBLA CLOSE TO ELIMINATE TIJUANA, WINNING 10-4

Pedro Iturbe went 4-2 with a HR ,3 runs scored and 3 RBI´, leading the Puebla Parrots to another victory over Toros, Carlos Villalobos y Tony Zúñiga also homered for Puebla, and Pablo Ortega in another solid pitching performance, pitched 7 innings, allowing 7 hits and 4 runs, getting hepl from Many Aybar who picked up the save, for Tijuana Cesar Martinez took the loss.
Puebla lead Series now 3-1.


SALTILLO -MONTERREY SERIES TIED

Kevin McGlinchy complete game allowing only 2 hits, in a shutout win over Saltillo 3-0, tied series, and Scott Bullett contributed with a 3 runs Home run, outdueling Rafel Diaz.
Series continues today in Monterrey Stadium,

CAMPECHE - TIGERS SERIES ALMOST GONE

Campeche Pirates making the odds good , beat Tigers today in Sunday´s early game with a sscore of 7-5 lead by Roberto Mejias offensive, who went 4-3 , 3RBI´s and a HR, to help pitcher Narciso Elvira pick up the win, over loser Rafael Roque.
Emmanuel Valdez also homered and drove 3 runs in for the Pirates who are now 3-0 in the series.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Francisco Campos 17 K´s in a play offs was confirmed as a new record for the Mexican League, and he holds the same record with 18 K´s in the Mexican Pacific League, while pitching for Mazatlan Deers last season, and it´s been announced that Dodgers will give him a trial when the league ended.
