Veracruz Eagles, fired Manager Rolando Camarero, and Marco Antonio Vazquez come up as his replacement, also Yucatán Lions did the same with Dominican Eddy Diaz and Mike Easler, come over.
Marco, a former Red Devils Managers , a Champion in 1994, and the manager with a best winning percentage ever in Devils history, is coming back after a birief appearance last year with Tabasco.
His task is not easy since Veracruz, is lacking of quality players, and he might need to bring his magic stick to go with it., anyway he will do his best to fix this puzzle up.
In the other hand, Mike Easler, who was a rimbombant signee this year by Mexico City Devils, as hitting Coach, has his first chance as Skipper in this league, after some experience before in Mexican Pacific League, when last season managed the Navojoa Mayos, also in replacement of then fired Manager and now former boss with Red Devils, Bernie Tatis.
A very respectable player in his playing days, and as hitting coach. Someone considered to be signed , as future back up manager in the Devils organization, now his role is trying to push Lions up.
Both Managers will be making their debut in series starting Tuesday May 11th.
Some teams also, shook up their rosters looking for better standing positioning translated into better pointing score (Leagues format is by points), amd among those most important transactions are, those performed by Campeche who signed Dominican IF, Roberto Mejia replacing Venezuelan Oscar Henriquez, Yucatan got IF Juan Carlos Canizalez, from Campeche in exchange for Catcher Hector Paez, also signed
Venezuelan Edwin Hurtado, and got Catcher Marco Antonio Cruz in loan from Campeche., Jeff Inglin got released.
Oaxaca, signed IF Brent Cookson, and Red Devils added LHP Jesus Treviño who was in the Dodgers Rookie Team in Dominican League.
