North Division beaten South by a score of 7-2 ( Source Mexican League)


Northern team, won their 11th All Star game vs. Southern All Star (16 wins), supported by Toro´s shortstop and game MVP, Julio Cesar Hernandez, who went 2-2, a Homer, and 2 RBI and scored another two runs to lead his team to a 7-2 victory, in front of a packed up Torreon´s Revolucion Stadium.

Demond Smith also contributed with a 2 RBI triple, and give winning pitcher Pablo Ortega all necessary support he needed to got the victory, in two innings pitched.

.
The Southern team scored first in the opener, when Greg Martínez singled, a walk to Tom Evans, Pedro Castellano, to take a 1-0 lead.

Northern Stars, went ahead in the second with one out, when Scott Bullett and Noé Muñoz singled, Carlos Villalobos drove one in with a sac fly,Julio César Hernández singled, and Demond Smith tripled to bring two runs more.

A 3 more runs scored in the 4th, put the game in one side, when,Carlos Villalobos singled,and Julio César Hernández went deep over the left field to make it ,followed by a single by Demond Smith , who stolen second, and scored in a RBI single by Morgan Burkart to put a 6-2.

Northern relief pitchers, put up a night show, allowing only 3 base hits in 5 last innings and silenced Southern cannons.
Frank Campos, took the loss for the Southern Stars.

On field trials, it was Morgaan Burkhart´s, show, winning the HR derby to local idol Izzy Alcantara, Guillermo Garcia, Pat O´Sullivan, Roberto Saucedo and Many Ramirez, Burkhart got 13 outhere, in the first round and 7 in the final one to finally beat Alcantara.
