AL Roundup by David Sack
The Toronto Blue Jays pounded out six doubles and Ted Lilly pitched a complete game 2-hitter as the Blue Jays beat the Twins 6-1. Lilly, (1-2) using command of all four pitches, struck out eight, walked only two and retired 20 of 21 batters during one stretch in the game. Lilly became only the second Blue Jays starter to record a win on the season. Orlando Hudson had three hits, including two of the team’s six doubles, and every Toronto starter reached base at least one time. With the win the Blue Jays have now won three in a row and improved their road record to 6-4.
