Manny Martinez, made his day tying up a record by hitting 6-6
Eduardo Jimenez, becomes 5th in the all time HRs list


Manny Martinez did almost everything to make Tigers win 10-7, over league leaders, Tabasco, by hitting 6-6, to tied an old record, shared by other 32 playerJesus Guzman (1-2) the winner, and Vinicio Gonzales, the loser .Santos Hernandez got the save, his 13th of the year, meanwhile, LLuis Carlos Garcia (Diamondbacks) got his 6th HR,and Donzell McDonald, his 3rd, for Tabasco.

In another results, Campeche PirateS, 4-1 over Oaxaca, supported in a complete game pitched by Frank Campos (White Sox) and helped by Julio Mosquera´s HR. Wascar Serrano the loser.

Roberto Zambrano (4), and Carlos Vallencia (4), went deep, whle Hugo Castellano tossed a good pitching to lead the Tijuana Toros to a 12-3 victory over San Luis. Ramon Garcia (0-1) the loser, and Pat O´sullivan got his 10th HR of the year for San Luis.

LHP Angel Moreno must wait for hs next start to look for his 234th win lifetime, when his team Veracruz was defeated by Yucatan Lions 1-0, thanks to a solid pitching performance by Juan Manuel Palafox (3-2), who looked recuperated from an elbow surgery in last December, while pitching in the Mexican Winter league for the Obregon Yaquis.

Puebla Parrotts, kept their supremacy in the North Division, when took on the Aguascalientes Railroad Men by a score of 9-6, counting in a good pitching by reliever Jorge Lara (1-0), and getting some help from Pedro Diaz, who homered.
For Aguascalientes, red hot Bobby Lara, also homered, his 2nd, in as many games, after being traded from Laguna, and having more playing time with Aguascalientes.

Monterrey Sultans, defeated Laguna 3-2, in a walk off win, after a RBI single by Miguel Flores.
Relief pitcher, Gaudencio Aguirre (2-0) was the winner and Jose Jimenez (1-2), also in relief got the lost.

In Monclova, the Saltillo Sarape Makers, got on the Steelers 2-0, supported by 2 HR´s, by Eduardo Jimenez (8), and Jayson Bass (3).
It was Jimenez´s, 318th HR lifetime, to surpass Ronnie Camacho, and becoming the 5th all time HR leader, and second among active players, after Tijuana´s Alex Ortix who has hit 434 lifetime, only 21 shy of the leagues all time record hold by the late Nelson Barrera.
Ignacio Flores (4-0) the winner, Brian Ward (3-3) the loser, and Hipolito Pichardo (5) saving the game.

Finallly, in Cancun the former Blue Jay and Pirate, RHP Jose Silva , performed as expected, outdueling Adrian Vazquez (2-4),shuting out Lobstermen 1-0.
He pitched, 7 innings, and got helped from David Manninng, and Julio Valerio who got the save (3), in route to have his best pitching performance

Laguna - Activated P Carlos Garcia and C Norberto Lizarraga. Placed Adrian Osuna and Luis Diaz on the DL.

Tigres - Traded Serafin Rodriguez to Yucatan for P Ignacio Flores.

In addition to those, PETE ROSE JR. has signed with Aguascalientes Railroadmen and Oaxaca signed Dominican IF Fausto Cruz, a long journeyman in this league.
