Tuffy Rhodes became the 5th American, and the 6th fastest alltime, to reach 250 HRs, in his 978th game. Ralph Bryant was the fastest, hitting 250 in 733 games. Sadaharu Oh took 994 games to do it. (Data from the Akichan website).
