Beer will be sold by mobile vendors and at 16 counters in the stadium run by the convenience store LG 25. The ban on beer was lifted when the stadium's management signed a contract with LG Mart.
Beer will only be sold up until the seventh inning and there will be a cap of three 500-millilitre cups of beer per game.
MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL: Chicago Cubs rookie first baseman Hee Seop Choi, of Korea, was named the National League's Rookie of the Month for the month of April. Choi batted .241 in 20 games with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs.
