I don't know what the two have to do with each other. I write about baseball, not soccer.
Nonetheless, I do, in fact, feel that by not having the MLB games in Japan, it is giving terrorists a victory. I also happen to feel the same way about what the Japanese soccer federation did, but who in the U.S. gives a flying rat's backside about soccer, anyway?
Furthermore, I have handed out plenty of stick to NPB over the last year or so. And I reserve the right to call them as I see them, whether it is in MLB, NPB, KBO, or anywhere else that plays baseball.
And for the record, organizationally, especially when it comes to player development and the total product out in the field, I still think that MLB ultimately has it all over the Japanese. But when MLB screws up, I'm going to hammer them. I will grant that it's recently been too easy of a target, though. A change of leadership could rectify that.

BaseballGuru,
In regard to your lead today, "Japanese Baseball News: Will MLB Chicken Out of Japan Opener?", please see the articles today about the Japanese soccer federation's decision to cancel two exhibition matches in the U.S.A.:

"Even if no war breaks out, there is no telling how things will turn out," Saburo Kawabuchi told reporters Saturday. "It's not worth taking unnecessary risks."
You desire to bash MLB at every turn seems to be eclipsed only by your faith in the accuracy of what's reported in the Japanese media, so make of that what you will.
